People get manipulated on all sides. The sooner we ALL recognize that, the sooner we can get on with doing things right.

547,948 violent crimes perpetrated on whites by blacks
There are 197 million whites
There are 38 million blacks
Assuming these data are accurate - a black is 45 times more likely to commit a violent crime against a white than a white is to commit a violent crime against a black.

If you think it makes any sense to "normalize" the data in the OP to produce "45X more likely", then you need to go back to school. And what school did you go to? TCU? Why don't you call up your old stats professors and ask for their comment on this?

math says 550,000>60,000. especially when 13% commit the 550,000.

You can't just say whites get attacked more because they're the majority, because obviously the opposite, that whites attack more because they're the majority, is not true. You don't think that needs to be normalized to put into perspective? The example you gave where everyone was a criminal and attacks were random was useless. You added the WoW and BoB element.

If by "legitimate" you mean "meaningless", then sure.
The number you have arrived at is more a reflection of the demographics of the country than it is a reflection of which race is most violent toward the other.
You are unwittingly accounting for the demographics in your calculations twice. Like I said, it is easy to manipulate people with statistics.
