I don’t know why nobody will just state the truth. The suggestion that the balance of interracial violence tilts in white people’s favor is embarrassingly inaccurate. It was a story made up to make people feel better about the fact the truth is the exact opposite.

The part where 9X is "adjusted" for population up to 45X is a prime example of how easy it is to manipulate people with statistics. Multiplying the 9X by 5 (the difference in population) is meaningless. It just reflects the fact that the majority is more likely to be attacked at random by virtue of just being the majority.

As a simple example, take a population of 100, 83 white and 17 black (same ratio as 61% to 12.5%). If everyone is a criminal and everyone else is attacked at random, we will end up with the 83 whites attacking 14 blacks and 69 whites, and the 17 blacks attacking 14 whites and 3 blacks. It's 14 both ways all else equal. In this case, would you inflate the minority population's numbers by 5X given that everyone is a criminal and all attacks are random?
