Trump tried to make Europe less dependent on Russia for their energy, but they all thought he was just being mean, and being Putin’s puppet. Russia has all of Europe by the balls. They’re in a very tough spot right now, hence why Germany seems to think differently on how to deal with Russia than the rest of Europe. Now they’re all finally starting to understand what Trump was saying.

NATO or Europe is useless. It never could defeat the USSR. The only reason it existed was to have American soldiers in the area, so that the Russian would kill American if they invaded Europe. The US would then nuke Russia. It was nothing more than a tripwire to insure the US would bail out Europe again.
