Refused service at 5 guys

They didn't have a sign on the door that said masks required?

It’s their right to do so. I prefer this to a government mandate.

That said I’ve not gone into a store with a sign that indicated masks required because 1) I didn’t have one with me 2) there was nothing I “needed” in there and 3) as it’s their right to require it, it’s my right to choose to not go in.

ETA the employees aren’t the ones to direct frustration/anger to. At least they’re working is how I look at it.

This isn’t coming directly from the people behind the counter, good job making yourself look like a fool.

Meh. Stores can have rules. I’m not a mask wearer normally. But if I need to go into a store that has a mask policy, I put on a mask.

Do I think you should have to wear the mask in public no. Do I think 5 guys a private business should be able to tell you to kick rocks for not wearing one.

I've learned from the news that this is the appropriate reaction as the precedent has been set
