Isn’t there some video out there showing someone cutting the liner? Is it a different person?

There is video of people leaning over and slicing the waterproofing foam on the side of the pool, which makes sense as that's something they could reach and is soft enough to be cut with a simple knife

The blue "rhino" liner that peeled up from the bottom was due to a shitty job

Whether through ignorance, refusal to admit the contractor did a bad job, ego, or combination of all 3, Trump kept completely mixing up the 2 events, and doubling down and insisting there was vandalism on tape of the "liner" being cut the length of a football field.

This whole thing could have been cleaned up with a 10 minute PC using the correct language

I thought we were talking about I’ll-informed emotionally driven people. Like you. Seems to be the correct thread.

I'm not the one who bragged about what a builder he is and bedazzled us with charts showing what a great accomplishment the Reflecting Pool would be.

Trump: "Completed within two weeks, in time for July 4. It will cost only $1.8 million."

Reality: Pool STILL drained with no completion date in sight. Cost ballooned on the no-bid contracts to EIGHT TIMES that amount ($16 million)...so far...who knows what the final amount will be.

$16 million is couch change to the federal government, but the episode casts doubts on the President's claims about future projects.

I always take people at their word regarding their political leanings. Why would they lie? What difference would it make?

As for the alter thing, you really have a persecution complex. I have never accused anyone of that. I DID ask you whether or not you were one and provided you a basis for my question.

I told you at the time that I would accept a denial from you and I have stuck to that. I even did some digging to show that, chronologically, it didn't make sense that you were an alter.

Well he literally had some people arrested and charged them with felonies for things they never did and crimes that never occurred. All in order to cover for a contractor who got paid $12 million to frick something up. Is there a term for that? It's not "emotional investment" .

Yeah, sure, whatever. Congrats on the big victory, fa ggot.

I'm surprised you think Trump's Treasury Secretary needs to be removed, but good on you for being principled. That didn't really seem to be part of your character from what I had seen.

The original threads on this issue are hilarious total and complete defense of the government trying to throw the book at innocent people in order to save face for the shite job by the no bid contractor. Some people in those threads wanted life in prison for these people. This place

the very preliminary stage of a case, it's unusual for a judge to conclude that the there is no scenario where the prosecution might ultimately find incriminating evidence in the future.

I agree, but let’s look at that dismissal. The judge throws Rinaldi in as a basis of his decision. Rinaldi does allow a dismissal based on vexatious prosecution; however, in this instance there was only one prosecution. There are some sister cases that have dismissal prosecutions on “one prosecution and threat of another” but no binding authority that reaches the status of Rinaldi on 48(a) discretion. Indeed, the DOJ has made no such threat. Presidential dissatisfaction wouldn’t seem to rise to the same level. This has the affect of a judicial pardon with no violation of Concrim amendments, no misdeed, and no express threat

The reflecting pool seems to be empty based on the live cam feed.

Wonder what’s going on with it.

Maybe the feed is dead.
