Not sure why they would gloat. USA made it to the round of 16, which isn’t terrible considering how many Americans feel about the sport. We even beat 2 teams at once: Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Hey chill out America. Soccer is a game boys and girls play on a soccer field. On the professional level it's still a game young men play during the summer. It the meantime there's always the thrill of victory and the heartbreak of defeat. Do Soccer - Avoid War.
But I'll admit I'm blown away by the positive response of Europeans to our hospitality. In spite of intense efforts by the anti-American crowd to portray us as bad people, the Europeans like us. Among the many things they like about our culture? The generous portions of our amazing array of fine foods including .......Texas BBQ.

I saw some of this on my Social as well. What the hell is wrong with the American Left? They are actively cheering for a US loss in international competition just so they can claim a "victory" over Trump.

At a local sport grill last night... I was recalling USA's win over Bosnia, how 150 people started chanting USA...USA!
I've been going there for years; it was the first time to hear this -- and I liked it. But last night I wondered how many would be celebrating our team's loss. I didn't even need for you to tell where it was coming from. That site will destroy itself eventually.
And I feel sorry for their community - their lives are miserable and they remind me of everything I've heard of the hippies, from the 60's, were like.
