In my eyes, LSU committed suicide when it: a) put up the high school colors of an overdosing felon who died while resisting arrest on the stadium lights; b) put "Black Lives Matter" up on the videoboards and kept it there even when its Marxist connections were pointed out; c) took Troy Middleton's name off the library; d) tried to force African-American classes for degree requirements; and, e) hired a CRT disciple as the new President

Should I:

1) ignore it;
2) tell them to frick off and never contact me again;
3) tell them to get back to me after they have returned Middleton's property to his family and put his name back on the Library?

Tell them you will not give them money, and make damn sure they know why.

Allege that you are part minority and are demanding reparations from them for money spent on your education with LSU.

Or, tell them you are white, and they would be accepting money from an inherent racist. You don’t want them to be stuck with the bad perception, so you will withhold your donation.

Tell them the truth. Their values do not match yours. They are prioritizing divisive and racist politics over their mission, to educate and to create a free thinking atmosphere. Until these things change my money will be donated to worthy causes.

At least that’s what I said. I also asked that they ask questions if interested. I was hoping they’d take the bait.

I would reply with

Get woke go broke. I no longer align with the views of a once great university.

The sooner we all realize that “Our”LSU is no longer in existence, the easier life is. They no longer get a cent from me. Haven’t donated in the last couple years and guarantee I never do again. They got my money when I was there, and I loved every minute of it, but it’s no longer the school I grew up at.

Another idea…

Tell them that to support LSU’s idea of fixing racial inequality you’ve decided to send all future donations to HBCU institutions since LSU already has greater resources than they do.

Thanks.

My response:

quote:

While I have two degrees from LSU, it is clear that the philosophy and values of the school no longer match with my own. Rather than foster a free and open exchange of all ideas and viewpoints in an environment that respects a rich and honorable institutional history; instead, LSU has devolved into a school (it no longer merits the term university) that is openly hostile to any student or faculty member that does not toe the woke party line with a new President that adheres to (and has promoted) a philosophy that preaches that I, my wife, and my children are inherently racists and oppressors by nature. Therefore, as it is clear the school does not want to be associated with "people like me" and my "ilk," I will not be donating any money. Thank you.

Got the same text. Responded i will never support them as long as they push racist politics and align with marxist ideals like Black Lives Matter and Critical Race Theory. Also stated i will never support them as long as they demand emergency use vaccines for students to attend class.

I got a canned response back from them. The text is a bot.

Situation 1. You’ve never donated before. Repeat.
Situation 2. You’re a past donor. Send a detailed letter of your red arse with out the usual check, and challenge them to become less woke, more conservative, or just plain non-political.

Outcome of all situations. They don’t care about you, but if you are in a combination that costs them millions, they still won’t care. Let libtards wither on the vine of reality.

A few months ago I got a fundraising text from LSU that mentioned something about "extra funds for your favorite area of campus". I replied, "my favorite area of campus is the Middleton Library". They thanked me for taking the time to reply and that was that. I think they're seeing a lot of that sort of response.

...And that you will be sending money to a conservative organization, like Alabama's Athletic Department, to show them your disdain for their behavior (lol).

I've donated to any number of LSU programs in the past.

I've simply unsubscribed from all of their emails and texted back "STOP" when receiving texts.

After the hire of the IGNORANT, RACIST piece of pure f*cking FILTH as President, I also cancelled/turned in my 8 LSU football tickets and got a refund for what I had already paid this year.

I am completely through with LSU.

Feel free to copy my response.

Thank you for your e-mail.

I am proud of my education from Louisiana State University. I proudly display two degrees from LSU on my office wall. While I have given to projects at LSU and in the School of Human Sciences in the past, the values of the university no longer align with those of myself and my family.

Because of this, It would be irresponsible for me to make any donation and for you to accept any donation. I would hate for LSU to be inconvenienced in the future if they had to return a donation from me because they were embarrassed to be associated with someone with my values.

Best regards,

anc
