Saw guy interviewed on Fox. Says reason is so govt can turn them off if they want to. Ice cars provide too much freedom to the peasants. You dims sure this is what you want?

It wouldn't surprise me at all if this were true but I guess I don't understand why they couldn't do this with ICE vehicles?

It would be obvious to you if you had a clue. Alas you do not.

Any vehicle that is equipped with On Star or similar software has the path way to be remotely disabled , if I remember correctly.

I think big money is pushing it, alot of investment in the industry, raw materials and the new infrastructure that will be needed. Along with the brain virus that drives the leftist climate insanity.

You can carry a gallon of gas far easier than you can carry a gallon of electricity. It’s not because you can’t disable an ICE vehicle, it’s just far easier to control the distribution of electricity.

Yeah I don't know why people make this claim. It can happen to any vehicle with that type of connectivity.

But I can put up a solar panel much easier than a gas refinery.

Look, I love a good conspiracy but this one just doesn't hold water IMO.

Ice cars

They can be stopped with just some warm weather, the ice will melt. Just kidding.

Ice vehicles with their many electrical components maybe disabled by an EMP, in theory. So, one well placed high altitude blast and we are back in the candlelight/horse and buggy days until new equipment and or parts are brought in to repair the infrastructure and power grid.

I suspect that EVs have a greater magnitude of connectivity and the higher likelihood of continuous OTA updates provide additional monitoring and interfering capabilities than found on most ICE vehicles.

Even so, most ICE vehicles still have that capability.

It is very cheap to get a 250 gallon tank to store gas. No refinery needed. I have 2 500 gallon tanks. One for Diesel and one for gas.

China pays American politicians to mandate EVs because China owns most of the World’s lithium and very little oil.

China is tired of watching the Middle East and America make huge profits on oil.
