The Taiwanese and Ukrainian do their jobs well. The other two, not so much.
And the people we do business with, are mostly old industrials guys. They don’t like dealing with women.

Aren’t you begging for handouts and programs?

ALL the multinational oil companies are this way. Hiring and promoting DEI candidates over white males. White male managers that don’t play along end up walking the plank.

What in the meritocracy is this? So can they do their job or not? Or are you hiring just who is liked?
If it’s just who is liked or who people rather work with, just say that and don’t pull this facade over people, as if it’s merit.
After the bs they pulled with the hires for this current administration, it became as clear as when people had been screaming this (for decades) that merit only matters if you’re not the ruling class.

They cannot do the job
And the likability part does matter. If you don’t like who you work with, it makes everyone less efficient and increases burnout
Merit includes interpersonal skills, technical skills are the floor/base requirement for a job

Based on what? You’re providing no evidence here but more context about likability?

We’re here to get a job done, not chit chat and gossip and drink beer with our buddies. You’re exposing the exact reason why DEI is needed. Because if it’s the default do what you want, you’ll just make up arbitrary standards for who can do the job. Meanwhile the real measure is not if you can do the job, it’s who wins the popularity contest.
And people generally like to hang out with people similar to them.

Is this ranked in terms of priority or not? So are these candidates not likeable and if so what do you not like about them? Or what makes them not have great interpersonal skills?
This sounds like a lot of goal post moving. One day it’s they don’t have the competency. The next day it’s they’re not likeable enough. What is it exactly? So these people can work on this items so they can make themselves more hirable. Or will you even tell us? Doesn’t sound like you want them around at all

Its truly amazing that Democrats cannot understand "merit"
We all know why. Its because you people are terrified to have to earn your keep.

I was told the same thing by a recruiter who couldn’t even present me to the hiring manager even though I had the most relevant experience.

Oh please Republicans move the goal post and have different standards for different people that are based in nothing firm other than their perceived social class rankings

Any 'white' male in corporate America who isn't either looking for a way out to start own thing or dumping every penny into retirement accounts/taxable brokerage to cut down the time needed is a fool. I want out of this mess as soon as I can and I do not work for a 'woke' company. My uncle was forced out at IBM because he was a 'white male' in a high ranking position. This is only going to get worse as time goes on and that's not even taking into account AI, Robotics, Automation which many people seem to have their heads in the sand over also. Its coming and it is going to gut white collar jobs just as much as blue collar jobs.

Pure feminist fear porn
You fear merit because you lack merit.

And we know why

Scared to actually address what I said? Merit in the NBA and sports actually works there because it has measurable entities that can be applied. In the work force you’re just pitching a popularity contest and not giving people the guidebook on how to win.
But we see who you desperately want to win all the time. Or at least think should win

There is nothing to address. You threw out the standard marxist class warfare that your own fricking party left behind years ago.
I can tell youre not a competitive person at all. You sit at the kids table.

Young White liberal parents in their 30’s & 40’s are about to have life come at them fast when their White sons are not able to get into the elite schools they want to go to & get any jobs in Corporate America.
