also this is how it ends up in Europe a lot of times, with all their regs once you fire someone its almost easier to bring them back than actually go through with the firing

1,300 CDC employees laid off. 180 have been called back.
The CDC will still get their work done with 1,120 fewer employees.
DOGE is still saving about a 1/4 billion dollars in CDC salary and benefits.
Don't take this the wrong way, but you are gov't employee. I don't think you understand how to run a business. We are broke as a country. It's time to get lean. We are lucky to have someone like Trump and Musk.

I just can't wrap my head around being perpetually offended by the idea that someone is trying to make our bloated, increasingly useless government leaner and better stewards of our money.
When someone points out they they were using 36k of real people's money to fund transgender mouse studies, the response is "well it's only 36k"
