There’s zero chance the LA GOP will back a challenger over an incumbent. Landry will be Governor through 2031.

Getting rid of Fat Scott, and Carville. Getting rid of BK and hiring Kiffin. Getting rid of Tate for Rousse and Dalton. And pissing off the entire sports media

. . . . is exactly my kind of shite show

Glad you recognize game

My regards for the governor of the state goes far beyond the scope of LSU football. As a matter of fact, it isn't even a deciding factor. I actually would like another Republican as Governor, but I absolutely will vote for Landry again assuming he is the best option available.

First thing Landry did was raise our taxes. He has done nothing to address our crazy high home and auto insurance rates.
10+ million dollars a year for a coach!?
Frick Landry, Brain Kelly, Lane Kiffin and LSU!

The State of Louisiana doesn't pay the LSU coach's salary.

I keep seeing people say that. Yet who signs the contract? Kelly ain't suing any boosters. Show me explicitly who pays the head coach. Provide a link, article, anything.

The Athletic Department at LSU is self sufficient.

This is what i found.

While not tax dollars, the athletics department’s budget, primarily fueled with self-generated revenue, is still considered public money.

Gov Landry’s been a mixed bag for sure.

Supported keeping born males from competing in sports vs females

Attempted some sort of tax reform, and was on a decent track, but then basically called the voters stupid when the Constitutional Amendment didn’t pass

Constitutional carry
Some sort of insurance reform
Trying to crack down on crime in NOLA
Fired Woodward and contributed to Kiffin’s hiring

But then…

Sold out a Congressional seat to Cleo Fields as a favor

Supports Carmouche’s fraud lawsuits against the oil & gas industry
Sold out sport fishermen in Louisiana to the foreign-owned pogie industry

Lashed out at LSU’s WBB team for doing something the football and basketball teams have done for years

Cancelled a large coastal erosion mitigation project that was being paid for with BP lawsuit dollars, and a favor to Nungesser

He’s halfway through his first term. Barring some huge scandal, I don’t see how he doesn’t get re-elected in 2027.

Both of these acts represent a clear and serious breach of loyalty to the State of Louisiana.

Lane could have been hired by Woodward. As a matter of fact, Woodward knows sexton and Kiffin very well. Whether Kiffin would have been hired by Woodward is another story. He might know him too well.

As for Brian Kelly- his firing was done by Woodward no matter what else you hear

Landry wanted the political credit and that’s when he spazzed out and started is spew or lies
