This is why Rand will always be Rand.

He's 100% correct. I want a secured border but it needs to go through congress.

The majority of the American people also get it.

The first two sentences are exactly why his libertarian views do not support open borders. No checks on the diseases and criminals coming across the border.

This is literally what the fricking problem is.

Meh. 75% of the time he caves after getting some special intention.

Rand is probably the least principled guy in the Senate.

What principles is he holding onto that prevent the protection of our laws and border? Just asking.

that kind of thinking is how you get far left authoritarians.

I really don't know what the wall has to do with either laws or common sense.

When the next Democrat announces a "Gun Emergency, Health Emergency and Climate Emergency" to institute socialist policy, I'll enjoy your reaction.

Thats a joke right?

Ideologues are gonna ideologue. Rand wins because he gets the satisfaction that comes with ideological purity and millions of illegal immigrants win because they get a free run across the border. Everybody wins except for Americans who want adequate border security.

Actually, both spelling work. The criminal aliens are using our country as a boarding house.

Rand is worthless. He's so "principled" that he endorsed Mitt Romney over his own father.

Not for this we do not. It is too important to leave a bumbling Congress to do this.

They have proven the inability to act in favor of country due to TDS.

No. Rand understands the precedent of using EO's to get what you want when it can't get passed through the normal channels the constitution provides is one hell of a slippery slope.

Congress has two options here. They can also vote to block future actions they don't agree with or they can pass legislation to restrict the President when it comes to future EDs. Unless they take action to do the second, then this is all just BS peacocking.

Your entire argument is specious.

This was not an Executive Order(EO)

It was a National Emergency Declaration. The 1976 National Emergency ACT defines a remedy to overturn an Emergency Declaration.
