Out of curiosity, I just did a google search to get a price range on the Ruger Mini-14. Google would not give me that information or any sites with a for sale ruger Mini-14. Books, accessories, replicas, yes. Lots of replicas and non-firing weapons. Search for pistols produced results.
They’re around $1,000.

As I posted the AR-15 and Mini-14 are the same gun.

Besides the fact they have completely different gas systems. The Garand gas system was revolutionary for its time but it's an unreliable piece of shite by today's standards.

Thanks. I also wonder how long Google has been refusing to do this type of search. I think it is fairly recent.

I support this and have said so here before. There's nothing in the Constitution that says we can't put reasonable age limits on things, and this restriction is eminently reasonable.

Can we do this for voting also? I don’t believe you should be able to vote until you’re 25 years old.

This is pure symbolism over substance. Every politician voting on this knows it will be overturned because you can't deny 10-20 year olds their Constitutional rights. It's all about optics.

Several Uvalde victims' relatives burst into sobs and cheers in the Capitol hearing room when two Republicans joined all the Democrats on the committee to advance the bill by an 8-5 vote.

And people wonder why conservatives continue to lose.

are they going onto military bases and removing all the weapons?

because thats what this law requires them to do if it passes

minimum age for serving in the military must be raised as well, and good luck finding 21 year olds dumb enough to join the service

Agree but, many restrictions have been loosened which, is as it should be.

so they rather win a few token adjustments rather than stomp this shite into the ground as real republicans would, and they wonder why people call them rinos

"Greg Abbott has said the law would not be constitutional."

Pretty much stomped isn't it?

It's not about reducing crime, this is about responding to and heading off the liberal propaganda that they know is coming. It's about not letting an issue that affects so few people, create an issue that hurts a conservative majority in state govt.
