Reject God’s word at your own peril. It is through the Bible that we have the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

If you do not confess your many sins to God, turn from them, and believe in Jesus’ life of obedience, death on the cross, and resurrection unto life, you will have to pay the debt to God for your sins, yourself, in eternal torment.

There are plenty of Christians who "debauch". You can start with the popes and work your way down the list.

Besides, they can always make a deathbed confession of faith, and all is forgiven, am I right?

If a non-believer is wrong, likely gonna get quite hot for them.

You seriously believe in a literal hell with fire?

Exodus is part of the pentatech; the five books of Moses, aka, the Torah. So, yeah, pretty Jewish.

Tbh, I fully believe that the Exodus story (a large levantine population migrates to Egypt, rises to prominence, then is enslaved there before being freed following a dramatic series of seemingly supernatural plagues with natural explanations, who then migrated across the Sinai peninsula as a nomadic tribe for 40 years before resettling back in the levant) will someday be proven true by archaeology.

The only reason it hasn’t already been definitively proven to be a historical event is due to modern political narratives influencing scientific institutions to actively suppress findings, curtail excavations, and blacklist archaeologists who publish unapproved findings.

Dr. Zawhi Hawas in Egypt is one of the biggest road blocks, as he is essentially the final say on all digging in Egypt, and he is objectively opposed to anything involving the possibility that the biblical Exodus could be true because he opposes the creation of the modern state of Israel.

Believe in my mythical work of fiction or face eternal torment.

Very inspiring.

Do tell. The thought police might ban me for typing the word out. Never know now days. Were you able to get my meaning? If so, why is it an issue

What would be inspiring about your attacking others beliefs?

Do you really think a beast is going to crawl out of the sea and control the world. And this sea beast will have 7 heads, lions mouth and bears feet?

And an actual dragon? Even tho Christians have been mocked because dino like creatures were long extinct before man evolved??

Your points are 100% fair.

From my perspective though, the Revelation was a vision given as an interpretation of what to expect, and the "signs to look for" if you will. It was purposed so that only those of faith would recognize it when it begins.

The Revelation in my interpretation wasn't presented as a historical account like so much of the Bible, but actually as an allegory. Jesus Himself also presented an obvious allegory with the "blood" and "body" of communion. I'm not stating that ambiguous reference doesn't exist in the Bible, just that there are some things that are presented as finite history and others that are examples. And i think people get too worked up trying to discredit Christianity by not discerning the difference between historical account and what was meant to be enigmatic and/or esoteric.

That he's a nutjob that is afraid to spell "curse" words because his god might punish him for it.

The "thought police" on a sports message board are going to ban you for typing HELL?

You are a complete nut job.

You have chosen to ignore God and spread your vitriol.

I don’t think you are capable of being inspired.

You won't face eternal torment simply for not believing the message. You're already guilty and will be heading to Hell if you do not embrace the only way of escape.

You break God's commandments every day. You are not guiltless.

Put your trust in the God-man, Jesus Christ, for forgiveness before it is too late.

You’re the top hypocrite on this site, Foo. You claim the Truth is in “sola scriptura”, and you claim to reject church tradition - the very traditions that gave you your canon (from the Romans and Greeks and church ecumenical councils and later Martin Luther). There is no eternal conscious torment in the Bible, at least without contradiction.

- in the OT, all the dead go to Sheol
- in most of the NT, the righteous are saved and are granted eternal life, while the rest are destroyed

You consciously choose to accept the traditions you were taught, and you prioritize your dogma over what the biblical texts literally state.

quote:

You break God's commandments every day. You are not guiltless.

Again with your hypocrisy. Why are you getting bent out of shape over people not following the commandments? Those are the commandments you have stated can’t be reasonably followed, and they don’t need to be because you say none of that shite matters - only belief in your lord Jesus.

Develop some consistency, Foo!

So, stories in the Bible describe natural phenomenon and gave them supernatural meaning?

Cool.
