So why lower the standards or expectations.

that's a question for someone who supports that... i'm not saying lower the standards or expectations, i'm saying i have no problem with others getting those elusive opportunities that were only available to us for so long...

i don't buy into the replacement theory bullshite, nor do i feel oppressed b/c i'm a white male (which if fricking laughable, to feel oppressed as a white Judeo-Christian male in the United States of America )

Which is it…equal opportunity (promoting merit based results), or equal outcomes (Pass /Fail)?

I didn’t mention it.

By barely passing a test that has been set to the lowest possible level of acceptability?

even if they barely pass, they still passed right?

and what does barely passing an ENTRANCE exam have to do with how they do upon graduation? there is no correlation, nor determining factor, that says a person that didn't have the highest entrance exam scores will end up being a bad professional upon graduation...

Nothing…if you don’t lower the standards or expectations.

If that is what you believe, then why are you arguing with me?

He must hate himself because he doesn’t think he’s oppressed? And you have healthy self-esteem because you’ve convinced yourself you are a victim?

So a D = an A?

Let’s use a football analogy.

The 5ft tall, 120lb QB in Jr. High can pass the ball. Should he be on an NFL roster?

After all, he can pass the ball!

Which would mean getting rid of DEI. Are you opposed to equality?

Equal opportunity with lower expectations?

If not, then why are you arguing with me?

The confusion, at least for me, is you're not explaining who doesn't have an equal opportunity. We're not talking about 75 years ago. Let's focus on, say, the last 25 years. Who's not getting equal opportunities?

not sure about a D, but a C does... in fact that was the running joke in pharmacy school... "C equals degree"... for us, there was no more earning potential for all As than there was for just Cs... i make the same amount, or right around the same, as those who were in the honors fraternity, Rho Chi...

no, b/c/ he's in Jr High.., and there are rules specifically stating eligibilty to be drafted/play in the NFL.... this a terrible analogy...
