And I remember as a kid white and black water fountains. I remember when integration first started when I was in high school.

This is the worst period between whites and blacks that I can ever remember.

Today we are ‘white supremacists’ for being white. We are labeled racist and terrible human beings. There is nothing we can do to make living together work.

The only racial division I personally witness daily is on MSM and insane leftist. I live in SW Louisiana and my experience may be different than others living elsewhere.
A high level of racial division is a narrative put forth by the left. IMHO

We are simply going through what happened in Rhodesia and what is now happening in South Africa - one group being told they are ‘bad’ and ‘evil’ and another group wanting things given to them because of past events or actions. We don’t have the violence those places do/did but it’s coming. Throw in all the Illegal Immigrants into the mix who want free housing, healthcare, debit cards, drivers licenses, jobs, free education etc and it’s going to be a powder keg. Wait and see.

If suddenly TV/radio and social media disappeared, you would be unaware that racial division exists. I have had nothing but cordial and respectful conversations and acts with other races. My next door neighbors are black and we smile, wave, and converse from time to time.

It is a narrative. Think of this, if the Democrats admitted that racism and inequality is no longer a significant issue, then what issues would they run on to keep their base? They would be finished.

I am seeing more and more black leaders question the Democrat party. Hopefully this grows and becomes more prominent.

Most of my encounters are in and out of retail establishments and maybe there is suppressed tension but we hold doors open for one another, nod, speak and such and smile and have a good day. Quite different downtown Jackson I'm sure but that's not race. That's thuggery. It's not as bad as they want it to be; or at least it's not on the surface.

This was not racial.

They believe in the opposite things that Republicans do.

Bush had the no child left behind policy.

The dems are simply trying the opposite policy where every child will be left behind.

It's genius really. It's teaching to the lowest denominator.

What democrats don't realize is their moronic policies simply cause more class separation.

Define the police. The rich will be fine, they will have their own private security firms.

All children left behind policy. Again the rich will go the private schools where they will get all of this.

It happens all the time.

Oh yeah, cities burned, drug addicts celebrated..

All in the name of "justice"

If you progressives cared about black people you would stop treating them like your pet.

I noticed more friction during and after Obama’s presidency

I always thought that the had a unique opportunity to bring the 2 together but instead he worked to create more division.

He didn’t use his platform.
-He refused to tamp down the BLM rhetoric.
-He rarely ever advocated for blacks to take responsibility for their own lives rather than play the blame game.
- He could have done more to advocate blacks get better education to better their lives.

I think he wanted bloodletting

Modern feminism is an internet phenomenon. Fake people doing fake things.

Third wave of feminism was racial, the 4th wave was gender.

These are some fricked up women.

Those in this thread saying the division wouldn't be apparent were it not for the media are wrong. They are right that the media has fed into it and created much of it. However, the reason you don't "experience" it on a day to day basis is because we don't tend to talk about real shite with people in our lives.

The division doesn't show up in someone telling another person, "I hate you".

I disagree.

For me, at least, that isn’t the case. I am friends, and work with, lots of good people that that just happen to be black. There are no issues.

With the younger generation, however, the anti-white message is finding a home.

Hopefully, in time, their life experiences allow them to see past the propaganda.

I remember that, too. And I lived in a poor white neighborhood right next to a black neighborhood. All the black kids I encountered in the neighborhood had one thing in common....they lived with their biological father.

We grew up hearing that race shouldnt be noticed. Only character.

These kids are growing up believing if you dont notice race, youre a racist.
