He was governor of Florida. If he doesn't do well in Florida, he's useless.

Plus, he is losing to HRC in his own state. If that doesn't tell you something...

Can't wait to see Jeb throw down in the Primary Debates. He'll probably reincarnate and use his "an act of love" justification re the Illegal Immigration issue.

I like him. I think he's among the best options. I think he's fairly disconnected from his brother. I think his wife is Hispanic and his children are bi-lingual, and his Spanish is excellent. He can win 45% or more of the Hispanic vote. He had a fair showing among Florida's black voters as gov (and was pretty popular across the board). He Will win Florida. His record on divisive social issues is more obscure than was his older brother's (gays, wimmenz, etc).

No candidate is ideal--even when they appear to be from a distance.

If Bush gets the nomination against HRC, I'll legitimately bet you my entire student loan check that he gets beaten badly.

He's doing better than the others. And I think he has room to improve.

I just bought a couple of expensive watches and am in the process of closing on a home. Besides, I'm not a gambler. We'll have to keep it on the board or agree upon some token amount (<$500) to a charity of choice.

You can come up with terms. I like the idea of a charity.

The bet:

Jeb Bush gets beat by HRC worse than Romney lost to Obama.

That sound good?

Those terms are actually favorable to me since I think a primary will do more damage to Hilary (counter-intuitive given the fact that she's a known entity, but I honestly see it this way). But I'd like to wait at least until Super Tuesday 2016 to lock it up. The GOP candidate will be known by then, and the Dem candidate should be known. We can bookmark...

she is going to get hammered by the left in the primary. Its going to be a harder road than most ppl here think. I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't run (rumored health issues) or she gets taken down early.

I watch msnbc every morning, and the establishment republicans and demslobe them some Jeb.

Just like they loved Christie before.

It's kinda scary to see the kind of influence the media has.
