Not likely. 1 in 5 religious people in Russia are Muslim. They are the fastest growing demographic in an otherwise declining country. An alliance with Russia against China is pure delusion. Russia wants to rule over Europe and the US will never allow that, even under Trump. Therefore, Putin will always see the US as its principal adversary and align with whomever it takes to knock us down a few pegs.

I think Putin is traditionalist. But it’s hard to separate what he wants us to see and what actually is.
Russia has a horrific abortion rate. He also kowtows to the Islamist regions and lets them be little regional warlords as long as they answer his call to war

He also backs Iran. He is two faced in what he actually delivers. And his rage against America is undeniable
Ukraine would be much easier to root for if they didn’t have Zelensky at the helm.

And this is an interesting point regarding both Putin and our political theatre. You probably thought that (a media supported concept of a conservative) Vance Boelter Indicted for the Murders of Melissa and Mark Hortman, the shootings of John and Yvette Hoffman, and this assassination of Hope Hoffman was some kind of a right wing nut-job. Au contraire, mon frère. He was a hired cleaner. A hitman.
Here's Melissa Hortman, CRYING, to accept that she voted against healthcare for illegal immigrants. She died in the same month of June 2024.

Has Putin killed some of his enemies yes. Did the left in our own country try and kill our President twice? Did they not kill millions with a virus? Did we not traffic millions of people including 100s of thousands of children? Do we allow and promote mutilating our children and pumping them with drugs?
Some of you need to take a hard look at America before you start casting stones.......
