I mean it's clearly obvious a lot of these "talking points" that get circulated are from disinformation campaigns, with at least a few coming from Russia. They send out a bunch of crazy and wait for a couple to get within the zeitgeist, and then their mouthpieces comment on the stories.
This is a classic propaganda and state-created disinformation campaign.
Note: the US does plenty of this also, through tradotopma; (Wapo, NYT, etc) and untraditional (message boards and extreme/conspiracy outlets) means, too. Just because Russia is clearly doing it doesn't mean the US isn't, nor does it absolve the US of its past transgressions of impropriety.

Putin is just using disinfo to make America fight and force polarity. He doesn't support one side or the other. He supports his personal interests first, his oligarch friends interests second, and Russia third.

Just because Putin is likely promoting a bunch of disinfo/propaganda that Patriots™ believe/promote says nothing about US disinfo campaigns. I can't stand progressives or the Democrat Party, but to take the side of Putin or to suggest he has average Americans best interests at heart is not only laughable but borders on treasonous. The reason for this war is because the west was shutting Putin out of joining the club.
