I remember when the invasion started in 2022 there were numerous threads saying that Putin was a hero defeating the globalists and there was a lot of agreement there

He has threatened Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania for "persecuting" ethnic Russians in those countries.

Or if it was Ukraine's military doing the shelling how do you know it wasn't in response to the Russian military occupying that area shelling the Ukrainian military and using civilians as human shields?
