I'm a leave me alone, conservative, anti-big government, middle aged guy, and pro-active in my own health by eating a reasonably healthy diet and an a regular in the gym.
I have no health conditions and take no medications (other than supplements), and still caught COVID and spent 7 days in the hospital last year.
We have learned there are many highly intelligent people doing sinister things in the Wuhan lab, regarding gain-of-function with viruses. This is not a naturally occurring virus.
I, and many others like me, are very very far from being considered frail, or "most-vulnerable in society" and yet my life was threatened.
For this reason, my position on the vaccine(s) is a bit less cavalier.

They are sick to begin with? They begin treatment too late?
No effort is being made to either treat or prevent this virus. NONE. Your choices are social distance/mask or vaccine. Nothing in between is being discussed: healthy diet, exercise, being outdoors, zinc, vitamin C & D, HQH, Ivermectin, Quercetin, etc, etc.
A coworker of mine got diagnosed with COVID-19 this week here in Bham. They sent him home with NOTHING and simply told him to self quarantine for two weeks. That's it. That's the level of 'treatment' they give.

Don't know. Ask The entire fricking country of India maybe. 4% vax rate, and they have made ridiculous strides and are doing better than the USA. They might have ideas.

Do nothing is always an option, and often the most prudent.
Personally, I've done the "neither" option for a year and a half and I'm faring well, as is my entire circle of friends/family who've made the same choices. I'll stay the course
