What's this "we"? There is no "we". You do you and leave me the hell alone.

Nope.

I'm hoping I already had it...like most who have had it, I probably didn't even know it

To conclude...Get the shot if you want, that covers you...or that's we have all been told right? Since you are covered, leave the rest of us to live our lives. Stay inside, quadruple mask whatever you need to do to feel better just leave me the frick alone.

You had to look back to November 2020 for one of those articles. So much for every day

Agree.

I'm a leave me alone, conservative, anti-big government, middle aged guy, and pro-active in my own health by eating a reasonably healthy diet and an a regular in the gym.

I have no health conditions and take no medications (other than supplements), and still caught COVID and spent 7 days in the hospital last year.

We have learned there are many highly intelligent people doing sinister things in the Wuhan lab, regarding gain-of-function with viruses. This is not a naturally occurring virus.

I, and many others like me, are very very far from being considered frail, or "most-vulnerable in society" and yet my life was threatened.

For this reason, my position on the vaccine(s) is a bit less cavalier.

And I choose option 3 which no one seems to talk about:

I'll take the proven peer reviewed meds that are safe, almost guaranteed effective, cheap and widely available.... and I know won't sterilize or kill my kids in 20 years.

See, I can have my cake and eat it too. If you want the vaccine have at it. I choose the third option where I don't take it and still am not in any more danger than I am getting bitten by a shark as I'm getting struck by lightning.

Serious question - if this third option was a real thing, why is anyone dying at this point?

8k people, on average, die every day in the United States.

Unless the vaccine induces immortality, nothing will change this fact.

They are sick to begin with? They begin treatment too late?

No effort is being made to either treat or prevent this virus. NONE. Your choices are social distance/mask or vaccine. Nothing in between is being discussed: healthy diet, exercise, being outdoors, zinc, vitamin C & D, HQH, Ivermectin, Quercetin, etc, etc.

A coworker of mine got diagnosed with COVID-19 this week here in Bham. They sent him home with NOTHING and simply told him to self quarantine for two weeks. That's it. That's the level of 'treatment' they give.

Don't know. Ask The entire fricking country of India maybe. 4% vax rate, and they have made ridiculous strides and are doing better than the USA. They might have ideas.

Knowing this, you still trust the vaccine? That former statement just makes this feel too scripted.

Then you are reading fiction.

quote:

If you turn on the news you’ll see that all the conservative stations and politicians are now pushing hard for conservatives to get vaccinated, I think they thought that the virus would hit blue areas and mostly affect poor, minorities, and otherwise people that don’t have healthcare so they didn’t really care but now I think they’re realizing that it’s the red states that are losing people by the day and I think they’re seriously worried that they’re going to lose a large chunk of their voter base.

And you actually believe this?

Would you rather what China cooked up for you or the American made vaccine? Yes, we would all rather neither but that isn’t a choice.

You obviously have no experience with Chinese manufacturing quality ...

But congratulations on your false dilemma fallacy. Those online philosophy courses are really paying off.

If you believe China made this virus and had good intentions for doing so......you do you

And a straw man to boot ...

Keep practicing that syllogism.

You'll get it eventually.

Do nothing is always an option, and often the most prudent.

Personally, I've done the "neither" option for a year and a half and I'm faring well, as is my entire circle of friends/family who've made the same choices. I'll stay the course

You have yet to mention the guy that’s seems to have had a role in both the virus and the vaccine.

So you are saying neither you, none of your friends/family have gotten Covid or will get Covid?

Maybe so. Still doesn’t change what the choices are
