As far as you and I know.

I am disturbed about a MSM covering a 90 year old who didn’t get to see his wife before he passed. Then, they ignore the 14 year old who died after taking the vaccine.

And they’re getting very very pushy about taking the vaccine now. They want to ensure they have a scapegoat.

et in the cases where it was prescribed, the results, while anecdotal, seem encouraging.

Lastly, if it cheap, and there is virtually no downside from a healthcare perspective, then why not prescribe it, even if only for a placebo effect?

For the same reason that antibiotics should not be prescribed for viral sinus infections. There may be some benefits to it but those benefits are statistically very small and since no medication is completely benign. The therapeutic index (the risk(s) outweigh the benefits) is too narrow to justify prescribing it. So it is a perfect example of medical waste.

Right so the whole question is what happens to vaccinated people if they get this. If mild cases, life goes on like normal.

If as serious as the last year, everything is fricked.

If that’s true why would anybody object to him saying it? If it’s not true why would anybody give him a pass for lying ?

Truth is all that matters.

There is no doubt that if we get to a point where the vaccines didn’t work (I am not talking about 100 percent effective), it would suck.

I can’t imagine anyone would be hoping for that

No, the question is how much of the population has yet to be infected at least once... at this point.

If you can't stop the virus, than its a decision for the minority of the population which is elderly, obese and with multiple medical issues to take the jab.

Sweden was right.

Everyone is going to get this virus.

Not at all. I'm really hoping they don't come back (which is why I hope more people get vaccinated).

Everyone will get antibodies, one way or another. And hopefully the antibodies cover a bunch of strains

To put this in perspective, 571 patients were on ventilators at one point during the initial surge.

I don't think perspective was needed there, but ok. 64 people is nothing. Trends are more important to follow.

I have learned to distrust the media the past 10 years and it has just gotten worse...no way I will believe ANYTHING they are pushing as gospel NOW!

I have tended to think Sweden handled this correctly, but was that their premise? That everybody was going to get it?

Exactly what all of said out here a year ago. They're trying to hide the fact that the vaccine is at best - limited effective. People that have already had the rona look like they are in a much better position.

They will say the vaccine is effective but it the majority of the population that already got it, that will lower the numbers.

Sweden was right.

There was never a way to stop the virus. CDC had an infection rate so high in February of 2020, that even if you had 100% quarantines, not lock downs... that the virus would eventually infect everyone.

We're talking 100% quarantines, that is nobody in... nobody out.

Everyone will get the virus.

All I'm saying is for months we were told this shite and it panned out to be a nothing burger. Turned out old people died and some rare cases of 20-30 year olds.

Variants are by nature more contagious and less virulent. So is the case for Delta variant. This is nothing more then the same BS fear mongering to push a vaccine.

I've been deployed overseas multiple times, that shite scares me. Not some fat arse Doctor pushing fear.
