Are regulations an alien force that fall from the sky like a meteor and must be enforced without question?
Or are regulations written by people, lobbied for by people, and voted on people?
If regulations are the problem, then the root of the problem is the people who implemented those regulations.

You guys are obsessed with DEI. A female or person of color could actually be qualified for their job, you know.
The fire is a tragedy.Much of the area that I enjoyed and loved is gone. Some friends barely escaped loss of everything.
There’ll be time to analyze and assign whatever blame is appropriate. The current online political frenzy is absurd but expected.
