You guys are obsessed with DEI. A female or person of color could actually be qualified for their job, you know.
If the people doing the hiring were hiring qualified people who may (or may not) be lesbian, homosexual, or some other minority we would not be obsessed. We are obsessed because the people doing the hiring are hiring lesbian, homosexual, or some other minority who may (or may not) be qualified.
The issue is that the people doing the hiring are putting factors other than who is most qualified as higher priorities for who gets the job. They aren't hiring people who are qualified with any other factor being a bonus. They are hiring people based on those other factors with them actually being qualified being a bonus.

Newsom will NEVER recover from this
I don't believe this, after all it's because of climate change.

Jose Gerardo Escobar attempted to start a fire on January 10th, around 11:30 pm at Pioneer Park near the foothills of Azusa, California.
GPS connected Escobar with the accused propane torch arsonist Juan Manuel Sierra-Leyva in the same immediate vicinity on 11 occasions.
Both men are associated with two foot soldiers of the Sinaloa cartel and a number of border invasion facilitating NGOs.
The corrupt media will drive a narrative that Jose Gerardo Escobar was not connected to the major fires, but that’s only because he got caught.
We also connected a third man who was subsequently arrested in Irwindale, California, on Sunday for arson.
Roughly 16 miles away from Altadena where the deadly Eaton Fire continues to rage.
Firefighters were responding to a small brush fire in Irwindale when they witnessed Ruben Montes, 29, starting blazes in the area, Irwindale police have confirmed he was detained by officers at the scene and ultimately arrested for arson.

The Palisades and Eaton Fires have their biggest test of their firelines today with high winds and low RHs moving back into the fire areas.
The National Weather Service issued a PDS, a Particularly Dangerous Situation, running through tomorrow as well as Red Flag Warnings.
Crews will hold what they have through these wind events, and it won’t be a surprise to see a couple flare ups today and tonight.
If the current lines hold with these winds they will be in a great spot moving forward. The photo attached is the Mount Wilson Observatory that firefighters were able to save as the Eaton Fire rolled through.
The Palisades Fire is 23,713 acres and 17% contained. The Eaton Fire is 14,117 acres and 35% contained.

Just saw that. City leadership might the worst in the country. They all need to be tarred and feathered.
And there are still clowns defending this shite.

Former Los Angeles District Attorney Steve Cooley BLASTS California Democrats’ focus on DEI and wokeness:
“It’s like the main thing the fire department leaders were focused on was DEI – not fighting fires.”
“People seem to be finally waking up and seeing how stupid this whole woke religion is and how it hurts"

Los Angeles resident @JereSimpson asked Elon to help LA firefighters, who had lost internet, restore connectivity.
In response, Elon sent Tesla Cybertrucks loaded with Starlinks.
Someone from LA Mayor Karen Bass’ office heard about this, and called Jere asking for help too.
After she caught wind, Karen refused help because she “was not interested in solving this problem if it involved Elon Musk”.
The average person doesn’t follow politics, or only consumes mainstream media and has no idea how petty these people can be.
Their selfishness knows no bounds.
Thanks to @JereSimpson and @elonmusk for filling gaps that our leaders won’t.
But they really shouldn’t have to.
