Then they should be thrilled by the promises from McCarthy to release all the footage so it's available to the public. We can be up to our eyeballs in context.

“The televised footage lacks the context of what occurred before and after the footage. Chansley entered the building as part of a violent crowd that gained access as a result of Pezzola’s destruction of a window and he traveled with Pezzola during the initial breach,” the filing states.
Ok so release all the footage unedited . Let us decide . Bet they wont .

The only thing that is needed to know is did the prosecutors/government give the video footage to the defendants as required by law or did they withhold that information?

Chansley’s attorneys say they weren’t given all the footage. The government says they did. I’m guessing the government cut this part out for “national security concerns” and will hide behind that.

When they state that the 10 seconds of missing footage implicated an evacuation route and it takes place near the end of Chansley’s time in the building, and the footage shows officers leading him from the front and behind, I think the only reasonable inference here is that particular footage shows them escorting him out of the building.

And you’re dumb enough to actually believe this.

Prosecutors and Context
Could it be relative to context that the following definitions apply:
Context = government lies
Context = spin
Context = “their” truth

Meanwhile, in a related prosecution the government attempted to hide an agent's presence on a source report, attempted to hide destruction of 338 pieces of evidence, attempted to hide the fact they spied on privileged communications, then had a complete meltdown when these issues were brought forward in court, in front of a jury.

It is true that a sole officer, who was trying to de-escalate the situation, was with Chansley as he made his way to the Senate floor after initially breaching the Chamber, as the televised footage reflects.6 But the televised footage fails to show that Chansley subsequently refused to be escorted out by this lone officer and instead left the Capitol only after additional officers arrived and forcibly escorted him out.
That's not what the video showed at all.

Isn't that irrelevant, if the prosecutors withheld the video from the defense?

What's laughable about this is the idea that anyone has seen all of this footage. The claim is that there are 40,000 hours of security footage.
40,000 hours is over 4.5 years worth of recorded vidoe. Even if 100 agents were assigned to review it, it would be a full week of viewing 24 hours a day.
The committee went to the footage that they wanted to see and cherry-picked it no differently than Fox News. The only difference is whether you trust Fox or the Kangaroo Court.
For me, it's a push.
What I find even more laughable is the complete lack of interest in this footage by the other major networks. The government is locking-up "insurrectionests" and the vast majority in our "watchdog media" is nodding along like members of the Reich Press Chamber.

Yet the prosecution never mentioned this prior to this footage being released.
You liars banked on the groomers keeping the House and this video never seeing the light of day.

They should show us all the video footage of this “before and after” that provided this “Context”. Our govt is railroading innocent people to keep their control.
