Ok so not enough to pursue a suspect then. Got it.

Geogia Law OCGA 17-4-60. Please read the law before making a factually inaccurate statement. Read my previous post on this. But for clarification I'll just include a portion of the law......

If the offense is a felony...

Again...THERE WAS NO frickING FELONY!

Jesus fricking Christ.

Okay, I'm all ears. How exactly did Bubba end up outside the truck with a shotgun?

Two white men in pick up pursing and killing a black man.

The visual alone gets a conviction 2020.

Yikes. That’s a sad thing. No justice seems possible if prosecutions are going to be about visuals.

Blame it on old south lynchings.

Done by men who looked the same as these three.

Blame it on you progs. You want to prosecute based on visuals.

Want to prosecute a black guy for flashing gang signs. Didn’t think so.

Maybe so. But the point is, Bubba wasn't in the truck. Bubba got out of the truck wielding a shotgun.

I believe both father and son exited the truck at different times during the chase.

My guess is they’ll have a better case if they use the body in the morgue, but who knows, I’m not the DA.

What does that have to do with him stating prosecutions will be based on visuals?

You progs are weird.

When I was at LSU, on nice days I used to ride my bike down River Road and sit on the levee and do school work. One time a pickup came flying up on the top of the levee and a dude jumped out with a shotgun screaming at me, that I was not going to mess with his cows any more. I had no idea what the guy was yelling about and thought for a moment that he was going to murder me. If I had been close enough to try to grab his shotgun, I might have tried. It's either that or die on the spot.

Fortunately the dude calmed down after about a very long two minutes or so and he didn't kill me.

When a farking maniac jumps out of a truck with a shotgun and confronts you, the maniac with the gun is responsible for what happens next. He caused the entire situation and introduced the risk of death.

Don't know what Georgia law is like, but there are a LOT of parallels here

100% agree except

quote:

He caused the entire situation
This is false

Had Arbury simply been a jogger, you'd be correct.

Now, one can argue, I suppose about a lot of things...……….but Arbury's own choices placed him there at that moment and for that reason. And, when one is a thief, one can reasonably foresee the possibility of it turning out poorly. That doesn't mean you "deserve" to die. It merely means, you fricking are the CAUSE of the events that come after.

Okay read my lips.....

Again.....THERE WAS NO FrickING MURDER!! Only a white guy in a desperate scuffle with a dangerous criminal attempting to wrestle his (legally carried) weapon away from him. This was after Ahmaud Arbery charged him, grabbed the barrel of that shotgun and proceeded to pummel Travis McMichael with his fist.

The DA (George E. Barnhill) is an attorney with 36 years experience as a prosecutor. In his present office as DA for 5 years. Another 20 years as an Assistant District Attorney. He refused to bring charges against father and son.

Retired Investigator Gregory McMichael has over 30 years experience serving his community as a cop and an investigator. He is familiar with Mr. Arbery. Let's just say Arbery Ahmaud was no fan of Gregory McMichael.

Where did you get your law degree? Do you have one? I trust their judgement more than your opinion.

In conclusion. Barnhill was forced to recuse himself because your pals lurking deep within the democrat party wanted to play politics using a dead man. There I said it. Deal with it.

Good Day!

His “visual” included a dead body. Your analogy of a gang sign was a little lacking.

Again, I know you’re trying to minimize this, because you feel compelled to right the true and biggest tragedy in this entire situation : that the news keeps calling him a jogger.
