Most had some form of prior heart issue, often times HCM/HOCM. Marc Vivien Foe, who died on the field in 2003, and Miklos Feher are two of the more high profile deaths related to HCM/HOCM. They generally have concentric hypertrophy of the LV, which decreases ventricular relaxation, decreases diastolic filling and systolic output, and decreases myocardial and peripheral perfusion, and can develop an LVOT due to systolic anterior movement. It is due to an autosomal dominant gene mutation (along one of 9 genes that affect sarcomere function) and is generally asymptomatic. Soccer athletes are especially prone to this because of the nature of the sport, and the fact that most places don't generally screen kids for HCM until recently.

The 'dumbasses' seem to be describing a much more noticeable set of occurrences with significantly higher numbers.
So, determination of who are the dumbasses may need to be more closely scrutinized.

You’re also jumping to conclusions. In your previous post, you said it “screamed” that condition, then in the next one you're concluding it as fact to denounce those blaming the vaccine.

dude dont bother. the gen pop is hyper-ignorant of medical knowledge and a couple of fear propaganda articles amplify the dunning-kruger effect. I read that as obviously genetic problem but covid vaccines change your genetics anyway which is how you become infertile

HOCM is a well known problem in something like .2% of the population. it is orders upon orders of magnitude more probable than covid vaccines killing otherwise healthy athletes (that is textbook HOCM). its more like hoofbeats think horses (hocm) not zebras (fatal vaccines). one assumption is much more based on reality than fear propaganda.
