There are several posts a day at least on these forums advocating for the eradication of more than half of the people in the United States....it is reprehensible on both sides. Never see anyone take anyone here to task for it though...kind of like no good Muslims ever take suicide bombers to task....

For all this talk of Trump being a fascist, I must say, he's easily the worst fascist ever. Everywhere you look he's being lampooned or slammed in the media, in entertainment, and by rioters in the street. A true fascist, like, say, Hitler, would never allow such criticism. Dude's would get bumped-off by the SS in the middle of the night if they so much whispered a bad word about Hitler in a bar. Trump's fascist game is piss poor.

When we legitimize a public sentiment that promotes violence against others simply for their political views, it should be made abundantly clear that this also goes both ways.
Make them understand the consequences, personally.

Big difference in murdering someone because they’re a republican and driving your car on a road where people are not supposed to be. Also, we have seen the results time and time again if you don’t drive and they pull you from the car.

This is an excellent post. You also touched on the reason for the cancel culture. Their world view is so flawed that they cannot expose it to rational discussion. So anyone who speaks out against socialism must be crushed. Similarly, anyone who spoke out against Castro, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot must be crushed.
Right wing dictators can tolerate more criticism because their world view - while completely self serving - is not dependent on fairy tales. As long as you do what they say, and let them steal most of the money, they will leave you to your opinions.

I've been saying for over a year... leftists have already dehumanized us. Most people on the right severely underestimate just how deep the indoctrination is. It isn't just "oh ho ho, we like communism, and dislike capitalism."
