My DC friend sent me a pic of their Fed government “Holiday Party” and it was spartan. More good news is the Trump appointee changed the party name from “End of Year Celebration” to “Holiday Party”.

trump should simply have a private christmas party for a few members of the media
invite only those who remained respectful in their questioning and reported the facts without spinning it in a negative light.
might only be less then a dozen people there but the symbolism and message alone would be priceless
if he did that it would be mostly foreign reporters and no MSM and few if any of those never trumpers from fox

FYI, I had never planned to attend the White House Christmas party last year or this year. Why break bread with folks who hate you & call you names? (@PressSec & @realDonaldTrump) That is not the Christmas spirit I know. I feel sorry for those who wanted to go and can't. SAD!

I was friends with one of Cheney’s security team around 2006. He hooked me up with a behind the scenes tour of White House and Eisenhower building. Told me during Xmas for 2 hours they take back the rope and let everyone sit on the antique furniture in White House.
