God, listening to Giuliani this morning on Fox was painful. He was rambling worse than usual.

you mean the entire West wanted what the vice president of the most powerful nation in the world wanted on behalf of his son

The frick you say

sorry Hank this is one of those threads where I'm not even going to play with you. You are absurdly transparent

You know exactly what the frick happened here and any post you make to the contrary should be summarily ignored and mocked

Meh.

The US had leverage to get rid of a bad guy, and the US used that leverage. Administrations under bother political parties have been doing the same for 200 years, going back at least as far as Monroe.

I feel ya on that, but "avoiding the appearance of impropriety" is a phrase Hank is very familiar with in the legal world, as am I. It does play a role in this situation wherein there may well not be a smoking gun to nail Biden to the wall with. But as an alternative option, Biden acquiescing in what he should have known gave off a very strong appearance of impropriety (at a minimum) would be enough to cause him significant damage.

Your pretense that you somehow believe that the company that hired biden's son didn't do it for exactly this purpose lowers your dignity level by about a thousand

Yes I know. He uses it so he can take both sides. You know. The whole I think it was wrong but I don't think Biden knew he was doing it bulshit

The likes of Hank would have me believe that somehow Joe Biden was either blissfully unaware or barely aware that his son had just gotten a job in the f****** Ukraine making magnitudes more money than he'd ever made in his life and that said company was a Target of the prosecutor Biden got fired

Hell you might as well argue Trump is a virgin

Same way. Was government power used to get people they didn't like in foreign Nations fired?

Shorty, I acknowledged the reason that Baby Biden was placed on the BoD half an hour ago.

That is simply irrelevant to the entire Western consensus that Shokin needed to be removed.

You seem to think that Joe Biden lined-up worldwide consensus against Shokin for personal reasons. I think that notion is ridiculous. SOMEONE in the EU would have called bullshite, for no reason other than flipping the finger at the US.

I already addressed this and mocked you for it deservedly

I'm not going to play your silly game. Biden knew his son was with that company and he knew the company wanted the guy fired. And he directly acted to get the guy fired

That's not in an appearance of impropriety. That's impropriety

You want to throw all kinds of foliage over that basic reality to make it look like somehow Biden didn't just straight-up work on behalf of his son which is fricking stupid and you don't deserve anything but laughter every time you try

Basically you are doing the incompetence defense for Biden. I realize this is a favorite go-to of yours but frick off

Where do you GET this nonsense?

I have little doubt that Biden was aware of the connection. It is simply irrelevant, if he was acting in a manner substantively consistent with US policy toward Ukraine.

So the new talking point is President Trump only wants Biden’s Ukraine scandal investigated to change the outcome of the 2020 election. Is this the only reason Biden is running?

Why does that matter, prog?

He was investigating his sons cash cow, and he blackmailed them to fire the guy. You can call that whatever you want, but if Trump did anything like that, they’d hang him on the south lawn and you know it.

Are you trying to say that you people would give Trump a handjob for similar behavior? Yeah, probably, but I would not brag about it if I were you.
