didn't read the full thread but it seemed like you were saying that Christians don't need to make it an issue if our leaders are Christians or not
Man is made in GOD’s image. As so, all men have the capacity to do good as images of the Creator.
We in the USA choose a leader who we believe will take care of issues a government is set up for…common defense, trade, transport and protection of our Constitutional rights.
If you can proffer a candidate who truly loves CHRIST and also champions those earthly duties, then I would be thankful for such a blessing but that is not the Christian hope.
Christ alone is where my hope lies.
With all that said…this thread was based on what is now apparently an epic troll job by the OP.

I am sorry President Trump being the most Christian President in History and praying in the oval office triggered you so badly. I will pray for you today

Was that picture taken this morning? At 6:04 in the morning, per the time stamp on your buddy Eric's twitter feed?

The role of a civil authority and a religious authority should not be conflated. An atheist king can levy you to pay taxes to build roads, raise an army, etc. A king who loves Christ can also do the same. What is the difference?
A king who loves Christ will use his authority to love ALL of his subjects with Christian love, charity and kindness, A king who doesn’t love Christ, will use his authority to love only those who love him as the winds blow.
This began with you broadly claiming Christian nationalism is unbiblical (or something close to that) but I've yet to really see anything to that end other than your refutation of a "Christian nationalism" that doesn't reflect Wolfe's (which is how the conversation began).

The Bible... see David, Samson, Paul, Moses, Noah, Solomon, Peter... need more names?

I think that the way John Barron is deifying Trump, he seems to think that Trump is using an imperfect God to carry out his plan. Such is quite obviously impossible, because God is perfect, but don't let that little detail get in the way of John's deification of Trump.

The old testament. You refer to the men who heard voices in their head telling them to kill children?
So people who kill children are chosen by God?

Ummmm....
I get it, though, you think you have a clever retort. You don't, but what's important is that you think you do.

Those men all lived in times where everyone went to church. Trump is proudly Christian in an era where only 30% of the country attends church on a regular basis
