Modern twins (777) are far more efficient and reliable than the 747. With that being said, the 747 is a beautiful iconic aircraft that everyone in the world recognizes as an American airplane.

I prefer the current livery. It is a beautiful plane and the blue paint scheme is engrained as a symbol of the Presidency.
Trumps design is classic, clean, and by no means bad. But it is practically an inverted version of his personal plane and looks way too close to US Airways’ livery.
ETA: That being said, the paint scheme on the two new Air Force Ones is just personal preference, considering the new planes would have to be painted in some fashion regardless. Any attempt by politicians to make this out to be a major issue is disingenuous AF and a clear symptom of TDS.

Only the “far right” and alt-right portions of the wing. The “moderate” right wing between the fuselage and the first engine can stay.
