Yes, yes you have. Let's look at the proof:

quote:

He said there is never an excuse for violence against police,
I'm sure we can all agree with this. Continue...
quote:

but there is also no excuse for police to violently break up the peaceful protests of citizens exercising their 1st Amendment right to lawful assembly.

Once again, we can all agree with this. So what's the problem?

quote:

Um....so rioting and looting are now classified as peaceful protests?

Um... he didn't say that.

Let me help you out since it seems you've lost all sense of reality... you can have one group peacefully protesting and have another group rioting and looting.

You're welcome.

I think your input is needed in the "Kentucky parents upset" thread.

It's really kind of sad that we live in a country where we try to spin a Harvard education as a negative.

Cause it is a negative. Obama is a great example of why.

So, to be clear, you don't have a problem with the content of the statement, but you do have a problem with the fact he said anything at all?

While he is correct in this statement (damn I hate saying he's right) this isn't what they were doing. The demonstrators have looted and robbed businesses and were in no way peaceful.

And what should the police do when the group that is rioting and looting is intermingled with the group that is peacefully protesting?

The fact OP has more Upvotes than down reminds me again how far off the deep end most are here.

And how do the police do that without disrupting what the group peacefully protesting is doing?

The content is fine and very benign but the POTUS needs to stay out of local matters.

It was embarrassing seeing Bush get involved with Terri Schiavo and it was embarrassing to see Obama get involved with Trayvon. That's a fish too big for those ponds.
