It would be best for conservative America. Why would it be bad for DeSantis? It's best for all he represents, gives him 4 years to observe, first hand, how the swamp operates, and 4 years to make "connections".

In the unlikely event that Trump is the nominee, Ron DeSantis is not interested in committing political suicide.
I can see Trump dipping into the 2nd and 3rd team. People who don’t mind being routinely humiliated and abandoned by Trump. People with no self-respect, or who are as just as cultish as some of the people on this Board.

Your opinion, is just that.
Your opinion doesn't affect reality. As I said, we'll see.

The CTH post was from April 18, 2021, 2 years ago. I would not draw any conclusions from a photo at least that old. It could be much older

DeSantis served in the US House before he was governor, so he already knows the swamp pretty dang well, how to deal with it and has connections already

People standing by until Trump decides to step aside is not the way things work

Well here’s one for you to work on then: He’s never stepping aside until he either gets another term as president or he dies. So if you want him to get out of the way, the best way to do that is to make sure he gets elected president.

If you just think you’ll half arse this election and let him lose, then you’ll have to deal with him in 2028 too.

Trump is either the GOP or the anti-GOP, but either way he isn’t going anywhere for a long long time. The sooner you realize that, the better off you’ll be.

He's done after 2024. Not many people are going to stick around to back a 2 time loser

The point, is that you all loved DeSantis until Trump told you not to love him anymore.

Perhaps you missed the poll in this thread showing Pence winning Iowa over DeSantis if Trump didnt run. Looks like lots of folks didnt love DeSoros before Trump even mention his name. Pence. lulz

No one takes you seriously. Overturning Roe and retaking the House is losing to you

Youre about to really understand what losing feels like during the primaries

If he feels like he’s getting a raw deal, enough people will to assure he spoils 2028. Might as well just make sure he gets back in the Oval Office now so you won’t have to worry about 2028.
