When a Republican president is in office, the Executive Branch and DOJ are subject to and bound by rulings by SCOTUS. When a Democrat president is in office the Executive Branch and DOJ are NOT subject to and bound by rulings by SCOTUS.

I’d like to see the whole statement in context. Been too busy to keep up with every utterance.

I do know that Trump uses phrases all the time that media misconstrues and then runs with. Did “I don’t know” mean “I don’t know that I agree with your assessment’ while talking to a reporter? He has a history of cutting phrases short like that.

I’m retarded for explaining that the President of the United States does not have to abide by recommendations from the Supreme Court?

Are Grok, Chat GPT, Google Gemini and Claude AI also fricking regarded?

You are a fricking joke for believing what MSNBC and CNN tells you to believe.. what a dumbass

dude, yes he knew this shite was going to happen, because the constitution specifically empowers the court to do this shite. The only way around it is treason.

Well how many of our past Presidents upheld the Constitution? Biden? Clinton?, 0bama?, GW Bush? Seems they all ignored some parts they didn't agree with?

It’s too bad that they don’t teach social studies and all that at your high school anymore. I guess they were too busy teaching you how to become woke and develop TDS

He has brilliant lawyers who are going to uphold what the Supreme Court says.

But asked about it he personally doesn’t know if he should uphold the constitution.

I don’t know how you can spin this. I’m sure some of you will educate me.

We know, you voted for kamala, and you worry so much about semantics it’s cool we get it.

explicitly in the constitution it is spelled out that they are the final arbiters of law.

No, they're not, although the remedial solutions for a shitty judiciary are rarely pulled out.

Why don't you provide the entire conversation first, then we can decide?

YOu provide nothing, and assume we're all just sitting around hanging on to every word he speaks daily

Lincoln ignored the Constitution and saved the Constitutional Republic. There are times when extraordinary measures must be undertaken. It really all comes down to the street level when the political system falls apart. Whichever side loses the political/formal power struggle will likely force a dog fight, both being aware of the consequences of a loss.

It's not a suicide pact.

Many Presidents have taken extra Constitutional actions to save the country when the country needed saving.

Ahh and here it is.

Something tells me if the president that was trying to "save the country" was named Obama or Biden, you wouldn't be so flippant about these "extra Constitutional actions."
