Just got home from Monroe Civic Center - my quick notes before reading thread:

Trump was amazing
Ralph was great
Kennedy nailed it
Rispone shite the bed

He has to do better in bossier next week

A few hundred got up and left when Eddie started speaking.

I’ll vote for him but damn, Ralph would win easily.

That whole row of dudes in Blue Nomex has me perplexed. They’re emotionless and obviously don’t wanna be there.

Nobody in the crowd Knew who they were either, which is strange. They were all very awkward the entire time, even before trump arrived! Obvious plants imo.

It was like 85 degrees in there with people packed inside. It was after 8 pm and people had been there all day.. some for 12 hours. People wanted to see the President and they did.. then they left early because they had been there for 8-12 hours. People leave early every rally. It doesn’t change the fact people are packed in to the rafters at the beginning of every rally.

All of this. The temp in there was unbearable. Especially for the folks who had been standing outside for 12+ hours in the heat. It was likely intentional on Mayos part.

Other than that, it felt and sounded high energy! Rispone was a little cringey, but oh well. Doc showed great class and i think he probably went a long way in convincing a lot of people to get out and vote Rispone.

The rally at CenturyLink next week should be pretty incredible. That should be the biggest rally Trump’s had in Louisiana. They’ll be able to pack 15,000+ into there.

The rally at CenturyLink

So how do these work? Just show up and first ones through the door get a seat?

Yeah. You don’t need a ticket. That site you sign up for them at is just a way for the GOP to get your email address.

It’s a long arse day though. I usually get in line around noon. You can probably get in line around 2 or 3 for a rally at a big place like CenturyLink and get in but it may be pushing it.

Yes. When I went to the Trump victory speech in Orlando the secret service didn't even look at the ticket I printed. Said something like "we don't need to see that".

If you're talking about Robert Mills, I'm told that was a very specific request from LA GOP, GOP donors in Louisiana and statewide republican office holders.

Ryan Gatti is a piece of shite that defrauded voters selling himself as a fire breathing conservative only for him to act as JBE's toady for high tax increases, more spending and helped kill reform bills to help bring car insurance rates down.

Gatti is a shameless ambulance chaser and come January, he will have to go back to his third rate shyster law firm looking for work at hospitals and construction sites. And that's on top of having to deal with his massive debt.
