Not the people I've known in real life that do it.
It's weirdos and broken toys that can't bring themselves to see their families. It's people that aren't thankful for anything they have. And in a lot of cases, it's people that hate religion and see Thanksgiving as a religious holiday because it's implied that you're thanking a higher power for what you have.
You may have different experiences. But these are the people I've known that have done it.
