You'd think if he were that passionate about the issue, he'd have done something about it sooner. You know, since he's been in DC for 48 years.

Left a Mom and pop because the company was poorly run. Three weeks later one of plant men was in the parking lot. “This morning the IRS and FBI seized everything. She had not paid payroll matching in over six months. Both were cuffed marched out.” Big oil pays more than they need to.

Don’t accept the new lie of Biden.

So you’re not going to cut taxes for the middle class. Indeed, with your inflationary policies, you are squeezing the middle class the way it hasn’t been in a long time.

Corporations and wealthy real estate owners will pass on any added expense to the consumer. It’s being proven right now with inflation of costs and, not shockingly, things are getting more expensive.

What you have is the radical wing of the party who want to dismantle capitalism introducing these ideas as “paying their fair share” and being equitable, when in reality, this will do more harm to non-wealthy people than wealthy people.

Wealthy people have big margins to live on. People living check to check don’t have the ability to pay an extra $100 a month for groceries.

I don't know if y'all remember but so e years ago CEO of Walmart was chastised in the media for claiming Walmart was the largest taxpayer when in fact that title belonged to Exxon.

And a president shouldn't be disingenuous when talking about tax policy.

Typical shite Ted Kennedy used to pull.

Neither statement is a lie.

The fact is a firefighter shouldn’t pay more in taxes than an entire tech company.

A teacher shouldn’t pay more in taxes than an oil company.

Both statements are technically true by themselves, just misleading AF.

I can tell you first hand outside of all the taxes oil and gas companies pay the first $18 of every barrel produced (at least in the Gulf of Mexico) gets paid straight to the federal government. You pay for your lease and then pay them for every barrel you produce. To act like oil and gas companies don’t contribute immensely to this country is insane.

Still waiting on the first time someone on food stamps sends out an offer letter to a candidate for a job.

nobody should pay taxes until you demonstrate the ability to stick to a budget. we're constantly passing bills loaded with bloatware that further widen the deficit. it's not an issue of lacking revenue. it's an issue of government breaking everything it touches..

Apparently Joe Biden doesn't understand excise taxes, because I'm willing to bet oil companies pay more in excise taxes than every single teacher does in individual.

Nothing like class warfare via platitudes.....

But the woke corporations will cheerfully donate more to this a-hole.

I guess you could make the comparison on an industry level.

i.e. firefighters as a collective, teachers as a collective.

Or as a percentage, which is what I think was being said. You even pointed it out in your comment: he's not talking about absolutes, he's talking about percentages. Obviously, in absolute terms, a tech company pays more but as a percentage of their profits, they don't pay more than a teacher.

It’s shocking how many people don’t think about this reality.

Rest assured you had millions read that Biden account tweet and fist pump the air while eating a sack lunch of a baloney sandwich.

Firefighters don’t pay more in taxes than tech companies and teachers don’t pay more than oil companies.

They lie, lie , lie……
