Let me just quote Biden from during his campaign. This isn't paraphrasing, this is a quote.

"Gun manufacturers are an enemy of the American people."

Here's a clue. If you're saying the same thing you're hearing all over the MSM... you're not original.

Won’t hold up in supreme court.
Like holding GMC and Ford responsible for car wrecks. .

As interpreted by layers and generations of tyrants. The Constitution plainly states that there shall be no infringement of the people’s right to keep and bear arms. Those who do so are tyrants, and the laws they use to do so are repugnant to the Constitution, and therefore null and void. I can cite you case law, but you stopped reading already.

I bought 3 guns last week and they checked my background for each one

Where can I go that they won’t check my background?

Unfortunately the constitution today is little more than a historical document that is discussed in law schools.

Car manufacturers are sued all the time in accidents if there is the slightest chance the a accident can be related to a design characteristic. The same tactic will be used against gun manufacturers, the plaintiffs will claim that firearms are inherently unsafe citing various accidents, and that manufacturers have done nothing to improve safety. Even if the defenders prevail, each lawsuit will cost manufacturers millions in legal fees. Enough lawsuits, and their product liability underwriters will pull away, they will simply shut the business down.

This is exactly what happened to Cessna and other manufacturers of single engine airplanes during the 1980s. Due to lawsuits associated with fatal crashes in which the plane was not even a contributing factor their product liability premiums became prohibitive, and they ceased production of single engine planes. Congress had to pass a law limiting the manufacturers liability in 1994 in a attempt to revitalize the industry.

You could kill hunting or sport shooting with this. Cant take a kid shooting if they are not legally allowed to possess a firearm or ammunition. A whole generation that doesn’t grow up on firearms.

I’ve always been of the belief that they would never seriously attempt to take guns from the citizenry. That they may pass a Bill that restricts a few types of guns, magazines, etc but would never ever try to take away out handguns, rifles, or shotguns. My beliefs have changed in a number of ways. They fricking DO want our guns. All of the ‘lost them in boating accidents’ may have just been being snarky, but you’re not as stupid as I’ve once thought. I’ve been on the wrong end of this belief. They’re going to come for them, one way or another. I do think the outrageous prices amd low supply of ammo has a reason and the government is behind it. I used to just think it was because gun nuts were buying 20k rounds for their basement bunker. While I still think that’s a bit much and only makes harder for the rest of us to supply ourselves, y’all may actually be on to something.

frick the government.
frick Congress.

The state of this country is turning into a nightmare. I’m glad I’m in Texas, but that’s still only a slight reprieve from is seeming more and more like the inevitable.

So if you stab someone with a butter knife, Oneida is held responsible? If you use a baseball bat, Louisville Slugger is blamed?

Instead of suing gun manufacturers, can we sue TreShontae’s grandma that done be raised him, his pos parents and the schools that failed him, etc etc?

How can an entire segment of people own guns for fun and sport and have no issues, but a certain segment murders people at a blinding pace...and people act as if it doesn’t exist. One psycho kills a bunch of people in one shooting, and it’s emblematic of all gun owners?

Yes!

UPDATED 6 P.M. : HELENA - A jury on Wednesday found that the maker of Louisville Slugger baseball bats failed to adequately warn about the dangers the product can pose, awarding a family $850,000 for the 2003 death of their son in a baseball game.
