Pratt did so well in LA mayor debate that the LA Times gave him begrudging credit

If tweet fails to load, click here. The clips I’m am seeing this morning he absolutely destroyed the other two. Flash polls after had him winning 88% approval.
Still think he doesn’t win and LA is hopeless. But the clips are fun.

Reminds me of Trump rolling his eyes at Jeb

Yeah. Probably some folks in LA that will do the same as folks in Nola. Say there is no one to vote for, don't show up to vote, Dem wins easily.

Imagine being a citizen in Los Angeles that works downtown. You drive or walk past hundreds of drug addicts that are shitting in the streets. People are getting robbed and assaulted in high end areas that would’ve been unthinkable 15 years ago. “We’ve got to elect another Democrat to keep this up!”

That was a backhanded comment. Not complimentary.

He’s running as a Dem as far as I know.

It’s almost like it would take cheating to win

Maybe. I think it reflects more on rank and file Democratic voters that care more about messaging and whatever perceived morality they derive from voting than results.

Exactly what happened in NYC too

Yep, common sense D candidates need to do the their party what the Rino's have done to ours.

He is, and he's just as lefty/liberal as the rest of them out there. The only thing he is really doing is calling out the ineptitude of not being prepared for the fire and not spending the money promised to rebuild.
Don't get me wrong, he would have to be better than Bass or the other idiot, but the fire is really his only policy issue. Even when he talks about the plans to spend millions on housing for a handful of homeless it's about how that money could be better used to rebuild after the fire.

She thinks that all she has to do is create a loose association between Pratt and “MAGA Republicans” and half of L.A. will refuse to vote for him.
She’s probably right.
She’s probably right.

OP, can you add to your post and have all highlights posted here?
I dont want to start a Pratt highlight thread and take away from this one.

He switched his party affiliation to republican in 2021 if what I read on Twitter is correct.
Also read the LA Mayor race is non-partisan.. which is believe means there is no R or D on the ballot next to their name
