The libs are frantic and it will not be pretty for them in November.
Totally Cool, Mon!!

U.S. Central Command has guided around 70 commercial ships through the strait, .....
So why is it now coming out with U.S. officials talking about it? Likely because the U.S. military has now identified the various issues that can arise, the right routes to use, and can more fully ensure safety. Now they can say more generally to the shipping community that it can be done because we've done it, which should help a return to normal shipping rates.
Meanwhile, it's been a busy day on the Iran front. Iran has been throwing a hissy fit about Hezbollah getting crushed by Israel, with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) capturing strategic positions. Iranian state media said they were pulling out of talks with the U.S. as a result. Then, Iran reportedly activated the Houthis to cause trouble because of the actions by Israel against Hezbollah.

This works. Open Strait and gasoline prices plummet for Midterms. With a justification to keep picking off IRGC Dead Enders one by one. While Israel hammers the Hez Jihadists.

Now do we start taking the enriched uranium, without their blessing as well?
That would pretty much give them zero leverage. Don’t think the angles aren’t being considered

Reading that entire opinion piece, the contributor had no actual source. His use of the term 'hissy fit' was also a bit concerning.

US should do like in Godfather, any ship that gets fired on...

And that, I do not forgive.

Moving 3-4 ships through the Straight per day vs 100+ ships per day pre-war.
Also, if the Houthis begin shutting down the Red Sea, we are in for a lot of tumult.

Meanwhile, two CVN groups are just sitting in the AOO, gathering intel while the US blockade of Iran continues.

Course while we are escorting 70 ships, the one that had an M80 blow a hole in the side of a ship is worldwide news.
Boy the media really does hate the US dont they.

Don't come here and start with your hissy fit.

They've tried, several times, and it never ends well for them.

I hope so. If we can keep the strait open without Irans agreement then we should. It’s their only leverage.
We already patrol the South China Sea to keep shipping lanes open so not like we can’t do the same in the Strait of Hormuz indefinitely
