The country is literally divided on what they want. Conservatism is the opposite of liberalism. And there are a fair amount of people that want both.
Problem is, liberalism will never succeed without conservatives but conservatives, by definition, don’t sit around and wait to figure out how the government is going to involve themselves in the public’s lives. Conservatives go to work and figure out life for themselves.

Ha. I’m in Texas. Went to a horse event this weekend. They’re more core country and conservative than rodeo folks. They said prayer before the events, rolled out all of the flags that have flown over Texas and asked that nobody kneel during the nations anthem.
This state isn’t voting Biden. Austin has a lot of people but they’re going to have to go back to the drawing board on this election. It’s closer than I care to admit, but 2020 isn’t their year.
