Good morning, STD.

Still not understanding the questions, I see.

Somehow I knew it would be YOU who fulfilled my prediction, and in SUCH a short time. Kudos.

I think the IQ or cognitive intelligence of the President is irrelevant.

The President is a manager. The Regional Manager of the country if you put it in business terms.

All that matters is ------ RESULTS.

Which President accomplished the most, and was best for the country.

Everything else is irrelevant.

Does it matter what people "believe" when we know that much of what people believe is inaccurate?

Any man too dumb to turn off his own tape recorder or walk out the room in which he knew he was being recorded does not belong being considered in this thread.

Clinton was probably the smartest, he was also the luckiest as he was President during the dot com boom. Anyone would have a high approval rating in that economy.

Man i hear you and had the same point of view. The Nixon tapes are the unraveling of a genius. It’s like listening to Bobby Fischer lose his mind on camera. There really is a fine line between genius and insanity. Crazy people do stupid thing.

And this is why Democracy is horrible. All of these posters equating "social intelligence" with true intelligence have created the decline of this country. Most people with high intelligence have real trouble interacting with people of average IQ. Anyone of real intelligence would find it psychologically horrible to function in today's political system. The least popular Presidents are probably the most intelligent. With that here is my list.

1. Carter
2. Nixon
3. Bush I
4. Ford
5. Clinton
6. Trump
7. Bush II
8. Reagan
9. LBJ
10. Obama

Kinda disagree on intelligence definition. I like this one, “noun 1. the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills.”

Intelligence picks up knowledge like sticky stuff gathers lint. But wisdom is being able to correctly use the knowledge to obtain useful results.

50 years takes us to 1968. First, ALL presidents are smart. If you don’t think this right, you are a tard and most likely a libtard.

Tricky Dicky, super intelligent and very cunning. Liberal Establishment Republican. Destroyed by liberal MSM like his Democrat predecessor LBJ.

Carter. Probably the highest IQ in the group. Big socialist, and since socialism fails every time it’s tried, so did he. No wisdom.

Reagan. Transformed a world where Communism was victoriously sweeping to total victory, to its complete defeat. Called the Amiable Dunce by the DNC/MSM Political Complex. Obviously, he was not.

Bush 1. Smart man that guided the world through the perils of a superpower melt down. Less politically astute and intelligent than Jim Wright.

Clinton. Smart man with no self control. Destroyed himself but was saved by DNC/MSM Political Complex. The mirror image of Tricky Dick.

W. Smart man with no fight. Allowed the Congressional Black Caucus to bring the housing bubble to complete fruition.

Obama. Evil genius allowed to work in the dark by DNC/MSM Political Complex. History will not be kind.

Trump. Very intelligent man with the arrogance to believe he can overcome the GOP establishment, the DNC/MSM Political Complex, and the anti American global economy developed since the Clinton years. So far, so good.

I'm gonna stretch the time frame a little since I go back to Ike. JFK was very intelligent. A lot of younger folks only know the Kennedy clan through Teddy and he was the dumb arse of the family. He would have flunked out of college if he weren't a Kennedy.

JFK was a terrific extemporaneous speaker so the press conference was really where he showed his stuff.

Bills ability to get into and out of trouble was something to behold. Trumps kind of the same way in a lot of respects to Clinton. Difference is Trumps more blatant with untruths/ hypocrisy but his followers are more loyal and adore him way more than Clinton’s supporters ever did.

Carter was obviously liberal compared to Reagan at the time in wanting to maintain the status quo of the Roosevelt system, but his solution for the poor economy included cutting budgets and reducing taxes much to the anger of his own party and Ted Kennedy.

I think Trump has the most common sense and instincts but isn’t the most intellectual.

Trump has more street smarts than last 10 presidents combined, and one of them was half black community organizer from Chicago.

If we’re going by measurable intellect, Carter hands down.
