So all you’re doing is acknowledging that Mitt was right in 2012.

Yeah, big revelation there.

Care to give me an example of something that has improved?

SWB? No
Schools? No
Infrastructure? No and they are facing a big lawsuit on misuse of FEMA funds

Tons of additional taxes and oversight of the citizens through the city council and Mitch has supported all of it.

I’d really like to know your thoughts

fricking Politico, wtf.

Hate to restate the obvious but Landrieu is a complete failure by almost any relevant measure.

Is this piece more pathetic or hilarious?

And not Cajun.

Yes, Romney was right about the 47% of Likely Voters who are effectively irreachable for any Republican candidate, even though he was wrong about everything else.

All I got out of that was that it's an obvious shill job from James Carville and Donna Brazille to blow smoke up Mitch's arse to worm their way back into the party.

Romney was wrong for singling out Russia in 2012 as our top threat?

I’ll take that as your admission then, that Russia is no threat.

Until Paul Prudhomme made New Orleans "Cajun" in the early 1980's, calling somebody from that city a Cajun was akin to calling them a n@gger and was taken with great offense.

New Orleans is a shithole. So is the whole state of Louisiana which also happens to be broke.

They slap the "Cajun" label on anything for marketing. A bag of Ruffles and a Justin Wilson commercial. That gumbo question on Jeopardy, that wasn't anything close to gumbo. It has a social cache.

Apparently it extends to politicians, too. He's from Louisiana (where everything is obviously Cajun) and he talks a little funny. A Democrat leader from the South. It's an article that writes itself with an appeal that doesn't have to be real to entice readers.

There's zero chance he would have a chance, even among the Democrats. Chances of anything nationally are nil.
