I lived in the city of Atlanta for almost 15 years. Left for the beauty of Cherokee County, zero regrets.
Visiting Phipps and Lenox used to be a wonderful holiday tradition. We took pictures with Santa and the huge, beautifully decorated Christmas trees. I’ve been to that Phipps theater too many times to count.
We don’t go there anymore.
It’s sad to watch it degenerate into a third world shithole but I’ve washed my hands of it.
Thank God, we don’t live there...

That fuse was lit around 1985. It’s been a slow burn for the entire area but Lennox Mall turned into a shithole within 5 or so years.
