I think bicycles for policemen are so not a deterrent and give off such a weak demeanor. Horses would be better, and humvees even better.

Whether you agree with it or not, the police are fighting an image problem.....that they casually use brutality and unnecessary force. Scenes like this just give the anti-cop crowd more ammunition.
