Poland has been through the wringer over the past 100 years with invasions and annexations. I don’t blame them for holding the line on this issue.

False. Poland is exactly right and every nation remotely capable of taking the same position should. Yeah. There's over a billion Muslims. Let them stay inside their fences. Make them as acceptable to the rest of the world as Nazis.

We don’t treat issues on an intellectual level very much anymore, but 40 years ago we used to, and this issue was much debated.
The winning position, in my opinion, was that it’s okay to let almost any folks in, but not in numbers so great that you can’t assimilate them. Assimilation means they learn our language and our culture and adopt each as their own.
Multiculturalism rejects this and posits that we can have many different cultures side by side and not only is it okay, it makes us stronger. That’s complete nonsense unsupported by any data besides leftist fairy dust and unicorn farts.
