Hunter is going to plead the fifth. What good does that do?
Proves he's corrupt and DJT had just cause to ask for an investigation.

Would you please show a smidgen of intellectual honesty? The subpoenas were ignored or disputed.
You should take your own advice. There was a remedy that they chose to ignore because this was so important they couldn’t wait until they could wait to send over the articles
Your TDS is showing again.

The House had unlimited time to put together their case.
I'm so tired of this argument.
Does a district attorney have to have their entire case put together when he goes before a grand jury?

Yes, because the House failed to do their job and subpoena those same witnesses.
Schiff assured me that their case is airtight and a slam dunk against the President. Why the need for more witnesses?
Posted on 1/28/20 at 12:55 pm to 225bred
Because witnesses will drag it on for months.

This is a political process, not a judicial process brother.

You mean strongly worded letters? You really would benefit by going watch yesterday's hearings.
BTW, how many of their own witnesses did they call in the house? How much evidence of a crime was produced?

Notice how Trump’s lawyers ALWAYS couch any quid pro quo comment with “even if it were true”?
I damn sure do.

Impeachment isn't a criminal trial.

Honest question- seems like we would want Hunter Biden called to the stand right?
I see lots of opposition to it on here, why is that?
Because this sham needs to end now.
Because we'll take care of Creepy Joe and his dope head loser Son, as a matter of fact the entire Corrupt 5 Biden clan, the old fashioned way ... through proper investigations.

To protect executive privilege and to keep this type of sham from ever happening again?

Yes, but witnesses are what the dems want. They know Trump will challenge some due to EP and there will be court battles. Those court battles will last until November. And they think that's how they win back the Senate and the White House

If they ignored legally based subpoenas they would be in jail.
Posted on 1/28/20 at 12:57 pm to 225bred
The Articles of Impeachment by dems are based on incomplete/flimsy evidence & DO NOT meet Constitutional standards for high crimes/misdemeanors. The incomplete impeachment investigation is one of the reasons why they now want additional witnesses. That is THEIR fault and NOT the job of the Senate. Dems failed to prove a case for removal.
The defense obliterated their arguments w/facts & historical precedence of powers granted to Presidents.
Senate has no choice but to dismiss outright or fully acquit Trump on all grounds due to the half-baked case

It's become political, no doubt. I'm not sure that's how it was intended to be, though.
