That’s not what overspeed means in an aircraft. It’s referring to the engine not the speed of the aircraft, which is caused by icing, again hence talking about what the OAT was reading.

If someone tells me that what I've said "means nothing" and their post history is absolutely full of one-liner sarcastic remarks devoid of any substance whatsoever, you're damn right I'm going to call it out.
