I’ve never understood the political class on the left’s fascination with making climate change a big issue. Real people on both sides of the political spectrum don’t care about climate change.

The problem is assuming their motives actually have anything to do with the environment.

There are two groups of people. Those who use it to push a political agenda and those who truly believe it is an existential threat to humanity.

Most of the time the histrionics is coming from the latter group which is funded and propped up by the former.

Every solution is aimed at the US and involves some type of tax. It's nothing but away to steal money to enrich the ruling class.

Not just that. The party that doesn't prioritize it on their platform has better solutions if their goal is decarbonizaiton of the economy. It's quite facinating to watch. They overplayed their card because they don't bring viable solutions to the table, it's just used as a hammer just like muh racism is to win votes and power.

I was alive and I waited, waited
I was alive and I waited for this
Right here, right now
There is no other place I wanna be
Right here, right now
Watching the world wake up from history

I saw the decade end, when it seemed the world could change
At the blink of an eye
And if anything
Then there's your sign of the times

I was alive and I waited, waited
I was alive and I waited for this
Right here, right now

It's easier to understand when you realize that redistribution of wealth and not the environment is their end goal.

Fear, condemnation, and ridicule are proven leftists winners in this country.

The funniest part is that it only ranks EIGHTH among voters aged 18-29. You'd think it would rank at least 3rd or 4th.
